It has been a while since the last post. Time to start think about another reunion. If you are interested in helping, drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Looking for Rod Bishop
Jimmy Bolden sent me this for everyone to see...
"I have Rod Bishop's annual from 1974. I do not have mine so I'm thinking Rod may have it.Can you post a notice on the site so maybe if someone has contact with Rod they could ask him? I sure would like to have mine back.
Can anyone help?
News from Jimmy Bolden
...just a few items I found around. A pic of the old Inglenook School. A pic of IA as it exists today. Also a pic of the golfing we did at Limestone.
Back by Popular Demand...
Roger Slater and the other members of Borderline are booked for another performance at The ER. The first time was a great success with an overflow crowd and the band sounded great. Come join them for some great music and see some old friends.
The Band is Back...
I just wanted to let you all know that my band (Borderline) will be playing in Tarrant at Walker's Restaurant on Saturday, October 28. Yes, that's right, Walker's Restaurant. The new owner made part of the restaurant into a lounge, called the Emergency Room Lounge. I know it's homecoming for Alabama, but hopefully the game will be early enough in the afternoon so you can make it back to Tarrant. We will start at around 8:30. Also, it's Halloween weekend, so you can come as whatever weird character you want and no one will recognize you. Or you could just come as yourself and no one will recognize you.
Hope to see you all there!
Roger A. Slater
More reunion factsheets...
Here are the factsheets from Joey and Kay Stephens, Tony Hill, Scott Ridley and myself. They got misplaced for a while. Download them from here.
I've added an album of pictures that Debbie brought to the last get together. They include football, cheerleading and just good old fun.
Take a look here
Here is the book containing all the information we gathered as people sent in their money for the reunion. It is in the Adobe Reader format (.pdf) and your browser should open it just like a web page. Since it is pretty large (6.5 megs), you might not want to try to open it on a dial-up connection. If so, send me an email and I'll snail mail you a copy on CD. There are some people missing so Ill be updating the file in the future as we find the missing sheets. I'll add a comment when I do. If you want to be added to the book, go here
and fill out the information portion of the form and send it to Debbie or email it to me (email@example.com
). Or just send me an email with all your details.http://www.inglenookacademy.com/rb/reunionbook.pdf
Try to Remember...
Debbie brought some pictures she had found to the get together last night. I'm going to scan some of them and create a photo gallery of them but we need y'all to help. We think we know who these young ladies are but we want to be sure. If you recognize yourself please let us know.
